My first official wedding cake. The tiers were yellow and hummingbird cake covered in buttercream icing. The carnations and leaves were made of a mix of fondant and Satin Ice. The topper, ribbon, and pearls were purchased. The design was inspired from Wilton. Truly a labor of love!
This is a cake for a 10th anniversary celebration. The calla lillies and leaves were made from fondant and the stems were made from a mixture of half fondant/half gum paste. The roses were made from royal icing. The central support was a PVC pipe weighed down with marbles. This is my first downloaded picture, so sorry it's not clearer. I'll get better next time.
