Thought I'd post my daughter's wedding cake made Jan 2001. Hubby dropped the top tier when his T shirt sleeve caught the door handle. I sliced the broken roses & plastic icing off the top and reworked left over plastic icing into a soft ball and placed it on the bare fruit cake held on with egg white. Spare roses were plonked onto the ball & held on with royal icing. This was at 11 am and the Church and reception was at 6 pm. We took the top tier to the church with us, daughter was thrilled regards Aussie
