Darth Vader Cake
Third cake ever made since finding out I could do this... It was a huge hit! This one for my girlfriend's birthday, she's a huge Star Wars nut. Six 9" round chocolate fudge cakes, black Satin Ice fondant, homemade buttercream in between.... Made the little light saber out of a mini glowstick, a piece of dowel wrapped in duct tape, and black decorating icing.

Nintendo Groom's Cake
Groom's cake made for a big fan of the 80's, much like myself. This is the first cake I ever made, not counting the "draft to see if I could do it". - Forgive the small photo, waiting to get the better ones from the photog! - The controller cords are simply drawn onto the cake board, I couldn't get the right piped consistency with anything I had. - Controller buttons are marked with the bride's and groom's initials instead of "B" and "A" - Nintendo logo instead says "Jason", the name of the groom.

Lighthouse Cake Pic 1
Lighthouse-on-land-with-beach cake for my mother's 50th birthday. Included functioning light. Lighthouse, Barbie, classic car and, yes, Star Trek classic Enterprise, all theme elements for my Mom's interests. Enjoy! BTW This is only my second production cake ever! (I'm going to stop counting the very first cake as it was just to see if I could make a cake at all!)
