this is a dummy cake for our fondant class. decorated with gumpaste flowers and bordered with royal icing plus ribbon insertion on the base.
this is done during our fondant class. i draw dora on the paper then cut out each part and trace onto the fondant tho' the eyes and nose were not that nice.
this is a very late order since it was just a day before the wedding day, i had less than 24 hours to prepare everything from the design to baking and decorating. but then i finished it ahead of agreed time. the cake was all pineapple cheese chiffon cake covered with boiled icing or the commonly known "marshmallow icing". i dropped a few fucshsia color then run the spatula smooth on the cake to achieve that effect. i used fresh flowers for the decors. hope you'll like this one.
