I did this cake for my son's school Arts in April celebration
College ball! Miami Hurricanes. Covered in modeling chocolate with a rice paper image.
This cake is wrapped in chocolate clay with white jimmies sprinkled on the top. The smaller pieces are cut from brownies and wrapped with homemade fruit roll ups. All of the pieces are molded from chocolate clay.
This was for school. The school was having an art auction so I structured the desserts around the theme. Everything is completely edible. The cake is frosted with buttercream and the colors and brushes are made out of fondant.
The ball on the top of the cake is made of molded sugar and covered in fondant squares. I placed some tiny battery operated christmas lights inside the ball and in the glass tube in the center. When the lights went off, the cake had an amazing glow of color and the ball lit up too.
Calla Lilly Wedding Cake with sugarpaste flowers. Buttercream frosting
This is made with fondant and rice paper decorations. The only non-edible piece is holding up the top because the fondant did not dry in time.
This submarine cake is covered in fondant and formed with the Wilton football shaped pan. The fins are made from dried fondant.
Color flow panels with melted butterscotch candies make up the top of the lighthouse. Inside the hollow topper is a battery powered light. The bottom cake is buttercream. The shells and other decorations are make of fondant as well.
Wilton's Topsy Turvy cake pan makes a great cruise ship! Covered in Fondant. This one was a lot of fun.
This birthday cake was for a Special Birthday Girl who LOVES puppies! Everything is edible but her puppy dogs. I let her place them wherever she wanted and then filled in the spaces with the other goodies. Buttercream and chocolate fondant.
Just lots of yummy goodies and fondant.
This cake celebrated the 1st year Anniversary/Birthday of a person who had received a heart transplant. The number is his recipient number. He has been given a second chance so he is only 1 year old now. Chocolate shells and starfish, brown sugar sand.
2 tier buttercream with painted white chocolate shells and other decorations and fondant letters on the top "Happy 40th"
