Pre-K Grad
This was for my son's promotion from Pre-k to Kinder. As you can see the theme of their party was princesses and princes. This is my official first stacked cake using dowel rods...they are great and easy to use. Vanilla cake made from scratch, buttercream. I made the foam decorations myself and saved a bunch. The cake was my gift for the students.

Sports
Last minute request for my husband's friend. He called me at work at 4 pm to see if I could whip something up for the next morning. Of course I got out of work to buy ingredients and bake at night. I think it came out pretty good for what it was. 5 inch brandy cake made from scratch. Buttercream and plastic rings for decorations.

Toy-Like
This cake was made for my best friend's birthday. She adores briliant colors so she loved it. there were two cakes an 8-in (brandy) and a 5-in (chocolate) cake. The one in the picture is the 5-in and this is the only picture of the cake I got to take. the bigger cake had the candles spelling "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" on it but it was exactly the same decoration as the small one.

Scooby Doo
This is the cake I made for my son's 4th birthday this past Saturday. Mostly everything in the picture was home-made. I made the cake from scratch, I made the foam decorations, the cake stand, the mirrored base was cut and prepared at home, and the frosting. The only thing store bought were the toys used, the garland arround the cakes and the black frosting which I don't bother to make anymore. Needless to say, my son loved it.

Power Rangers
My boss' wife called me at work at noon on a Thursday to see if I could have this cake ready by Friday morning...I get out of work at 5pm. Anyway, it was an 8 inch round cake so I agreed. Instead of making a frosting power ranger I decided to make the foam cake topper and simplify my life. The kid loved it. It is a vanilla cake with buttercream frosting, home made red.

Buggy Race Cars
This was just a practice cake. I just wanted to try out the carving business. 6-inch cake cut in half, placed upward and then carved to look like cars. Buttercream icing (leftovers). Wheels are oreo cookies, gummies were used for signal and stop lights and fruit twists for the bumpers
