NEED HELP
Picked up this recipe from a blogging site. The recipe seems genuine as i found the same recipe in couple more blogging sites.
I always seem to have a problem baking pound cakes. They always get baked in 10-15 mins as opposed to 60 mins in the recipe and it is always underbaked ,looks cooked but smell n tastes raw!!
It is definitely not the oven problem.Coz my other bakes n cakes turn out fantastic,Please can someone try this recipe for me.

APeople tried to help you with that recipe on your other post http://www.cakecentral.com/t/779992/expert-bakers-your-advice-needed-is-this-recipe-correct
I think someone else posted (on one of the other threads you created for this question) a very good statement. I am going to paraphrase: I'm in Florida where it is very humid, depending on where you live my cake might need special care b/c of the humidity and yours may not. I will also most definitely buy different ingredient brands than you and that will affect the cake as well. I might bake in a dark pan and you in a shiny pan. Just two people making the cake is not really going to let you know what you are doing wrong. Can you get a friend in your area to bake it if you buy the ingredients? That would probably be a better solution- that way you can control the ingredients, etc to get a better match to what you are doing. HTH
It is against Cake Central policy to repeatedly post the same question, even if it is different categories.
The recipe says to bake 55- 60 minutes but you baked only 10-15 minutes. Why didn't you follow the recipe? You acknowledge that it results in the cake being underbaked. I don't get it. How could it possibly be "done" in 10-15 minutes?
