I've seen this recipe floating around a few place on the Internet and tried it this weekend. Super easy to make. I halved it and it turned out perfect too. I used a mixture of cherry, vanilla and butter flavorings to mask the tell-tale meringue powder tanginess. I used it for flooding christmas cookies. They are hard enough to stack if treated gently.
