made this for my brother and sister-in-law. They wanted to surprise the family with the gender of the baby...when my dad cut into the cake it was either pink or blue. The booties were meant to be either a clue or a distraction. Everyone really liked it. Thanks for the inspiration ideas here on cc. PS...It was pink!
