Too Bad I Didn't Take A Picture...

I have been on a decorating hiatus for the last 5 months due to pregnancy related food aversions to sugar and the smell of it!
However, as a favor for a co-worker, I bit the bullet and decorated a square chocolate cake with baby boy booties for a baby shower.
I just thought the cake was ordinary. However, when she saw it and read the message, she broke out in tears and said it was beautiful! She paid me and gave me a tip.
On Monday, when I walked into work, she nearly met me at the door to tell me how delicious the cake was and how everyone loved it so. She said she would never hesitate ordering from me again.
I was so proud and eternally thankful for her gratitude. She really blessed me! I guess I won't be selling my KA afterall.

Isn't that one of the most fulfilling feelings? Esp. when you really weren't up to doing it? There's always a blessing in being a blessing to someone else.
How nice was it to hear such a positve response! I think that I forget that people really feel so important to receive a gift that was made just for them!
What a nice compliment - good for you!!!
