i recall someone saying that they made rolled buttercream with their own buttercream recipe?
i know there's a recipe here at cc for it, but i have some leftover buttercream that i want to use up.
i'm wondering if i could just add some more powdered sugar and some corn syrup? would that work? also, how much of each ingredient would i add?
the buttercream i have right now is a thin consistancy used for frosting cake, not flower/border consistancy.

I guess it depends on your recipe. I would definitely stiffen up the buttercream with powdered sugar after I added the cornsyrup. If you recipe is all crisco, I know you use equal amounts of cornsyrup to crisco. Not knowing how much icing you have left or if there is butter in it. . . you might just have to experiment.
