Hello all!
I was wondering how do you make small bite-size ball shaped cookies? What do you use to bake them in/on?

Thanks

Joy

what recipe are you using? ball cookies are just scoops of dough rolled in your hand and placed on an ungreased cookie sheet. sometimes they roll around, so you have to be careful transporting the sheet to the oven. lol They do spread in the oven, though, so they are flat on the bottom. If that's not what you are thinking of, sorry...

Thanks for the reply! I'm trying to make cookies (sugar cookies) that retains the "ball" shape after you bake them. I'm not sure if there's a baking sheet/pan that can be used. I also do gourmet doggie treats as well and wanted to do a treat that's ball-shaped/round and dipped in chocolate (carob since dogs can't have real chocolate). I also offer 4 other flavored treats.

I think you might always end up with a flat bottom, if that's ok...?

That's a good idea! Thanks-a-bunch! I have so much to do over the weekend for Valentine's Day - mini heart shaped cakes (golden butter with strawberry filling and chocolate with chocolate ganache, both with buttercream), "conversation" cookies, VDay novelty shaped cookies and doggie treats as well... I've already started my gumpaste roses to go on the cakes.

babyj, if you have access to the naughty gallery -
I made some cookies with the NFSC recipe (minus the baking powder) called jingle balls. The green balls were 1 inch balls, they stayed almost completely round and had a VERY small flat place.
