Hello All,
I was just wondering if anyone here makes cream center chocolates and how they price them. I am making a flyer to put up at my husband's work and need to know what to charge. Do you charge per piece, by the pound? I looked online but everyone I saw charged at least $15.00 a pound! That seems like a lot but I could be wrong. I don't want to charge too much because I don't have my own shop. I just do it out of my house really as a hobby. It's just going to be for the holidays so any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Heather

What I would do is figure out the cost of ingredients, then figure out how much you have produced. If you have made 5lbs and it cost you $10 to make them, then you know materials only cost $2 to make them. How much time and effort did you put into them? Make triple the price?

Just make sure you're at least doubling the materials cost. I underpriced some craft things I made a long time ago and after it was all said and done I realized I only broke even, and never got paid for my time.
