Hi Everyone, yet another topic that wants to pick your brains. A teacher wants a cake with something about say no to drugs on it. Since it's red ribbon week she wants to incorporate that in. I don't want to use too much red though. Any help is really appreciated icon_lol.gif .

How about a prison cake. Or make some fondant fried eggs, for a retro "this is your brain on drugs" cake? How about making the red ribbob out of fondant so it can just get picked off?

Yeah, the fried egg thing is the only thing I could come up with. Well, other than fondant drugs, which would probably not be the best thing to take to a school (with a big red slash through them of course.)

I even looked online but heck if I could find a single poster or graphic. No ideas tonight. Maybe I'll come up with something as I lay in bed trying to sleep.

OMD, don't make fondant drugs!!! They would love that, but I think it would defeat the purpose a little bit, and what if one of them pocketed the fondant bong and took it home to mom?

LoL, oh my , the fondant bong had be rolling in my chair. That was too funny. As for the "This is your brain on drugs " I don't think the kids would even know what that meant. Those were some funny comercials back in the day.

What if you made a big giant red ribbon from fondant/gumpaste that lays on top of the cake and you piped Just Say No on the ribbon or something. And instead of doing shells or beads for a boarder you could do something incorporating Xs or slashes.

I really like the first one CLB posted. You could do the world and little people as the main graphic, regular lettering and a BC of fondant red ribbon in each corner. It would look great!

How about the symbol of the circle with the red slash going throuh it then have your saying...

my son just came home with a whole work book of "just say no" ideas. They all seem cake compatible

one is a hot air balloon and says "Flying high with hugs, not drugs"

another is a clown and says "Drugs are no joke, don't clown around"

and another was a car and the writting said "Speed Kills, so don't "meth" around"

and one of my favorites was a flower that said "You don't need drugs to bloom"
