Can I Freeze Cake If It Has A Fondant Ribbon Around Bottom?

I'm worried the fondant ribbon around the bottom might get yucky?

It will probably crack if ya freeze it...is it for a customer?

Yip, My first wedding cake, but this one is just a practice run.
One small tier, I'm afraid it will be stale by the time I get it to her.
I guess I should wait and put on the fondant on delivery day.

I've frozen Fondant before and not had a problem... the Superman and Batman cakes under my profile were both frozen overnight before delivery. They thawed fine, no sweat, granted it was freezing cold where I live. I would suggest thawing in the fridge vs. the counter if it's warm.
