I'm making some heart shaped sugar cookies that I'm donating to the school bake sale tomorrow. I'm not going to do anything super elaborate, though I'd like to make them look nice. Since they are only going to be selling things for $0.25, I'll probably put 2 cookies into a plastic bag. I had a couple ideas of some possibilities for decorating them. One idea was to cover them in a powder sugar glaze (either all white or all pink or half white and half pink) and if I did all pink, I could take some melted white almond bark and drizzle it over the cookies. Another idea might be to dip the tops of the cookies in melted white almond bark and then drizzle the cookies in chocolate almond bark. Do either of these ideas sound good?

For a school bake sale, I always like to use sprinkles. The kids really love them, and they're the ones begging their mom to buy them something!
I like all your ideas that you mentioned. They sound like they would appeal to a lot of people...which is what you want.

Ice half white, half pink, then marble the colors together a little in the middle. Quick, easy, pretty. And yes- kids LOVE sprinkles!

I would stay away from the almonds due to food allergies.

You could just make the "conversation hearts." Just paint them a solid color and pipe on some cute expressions. I have some in my "photos." They were pretty easy and the kids love them.

Thanks for the suggestions. I went ahead and dipped one half in white almond bark and dipped the other in chocolate almond bark.
