Hi. I was wondering if any of you have ever replaced the oil needed for boxed cake mix with butter. I wanted to bake a cake today, but find that I am out of oil-rats! But I thought that I had heard that this is possible. Please help!!

TIA,
Tanya

I have done the opposite and substituted butter for oil and milk for water. Turns out just a bit richer.
