Gumpaste Figure.....how Much To Charge

Okay, so this woman didn't flinch when I quoted her a price for a coffin cake but now she's talking a gumpaste figure

Having only made gumpaste figures for family the question is:
How much would you charge for one?
I'm not planning on making the guy standing up... I'm thinking sitting on the coffin..........

I suppose it would depend on the size of the figure, supplies, the amount of detail, and of course the total time it takes to create the figure. This is just a suggested guideline. I can't really put a dollar amount on it,

I'd say $20.00 at least. Its going to take you a couple hrs I'd imagine?HTH

I charge $160+ for my bride and groom cake toppers, they generally take me about 4 hours or so to make. I wouldn't do a model for under $50. If you think it's going to be simple then you should work out how long you think it will take you and multiply that by your hourly rate.
