My Jo-Anns & Michaels just released their class schedules for November and, due to the class times, I decided I can't take them. I am quite bummed as I was really looking forward to getting out one night a week since my DH is now home from Iraq and could stay with our daughter. I'm still planning to take them but wont' be able to do so until next summer b/c DH is leaving for training soon & then we're moving.

All that to say....in the mean time, I want to keep practicing and continue to self-teach myself. I read this board and a couple Yahoo! groups to gain knowledge. And I'll continue to keep making cakes to gain experience. But I'd really love to read some online tutorials or some step-by-step books. I have the Witon Course 1 book & the Wilton general decorating book which have helped me. And I found the link in the archives here for a 4-H online tutorial. I've looked at some books but all the ones I've found are more of a "showcase" and I want a how-to. Anyone have any links or books they'd recommend? [/url]
