Besides my Valentine's cookies my next project is to make my niece a Carebear cake she's just a little tyke but loves the bear well I will be leaving to Houston shortly and wanted to drop off (She's in Dallas) a little cake for her so I bought the mini bear pan and wanted to put it on top of a small cake 6" but will it need some kind of support like the stacked cakes? Will it still need to be on its own board? If dowels are needed will it need one dowel going down the center for extra support for the drive 3 hours to Dallas. Thanks in advance icon_biggrin.gif

I would transport the bear and cake separately and place the bear on top when you get there. Is the 6" cake going to be 2 layers? If so, it wouldn't hurt to put a couple of dowels in, just to be sure.

Hope this helps.

Yeah it will be double layer, so put two dowels then the bear on its own board I see better be safe than sorry
