I would love some ideas on what to do with some left over ganache. I made a birthday cake for a friend and have a small bowl full left. Ideas, anyone? icon_smile.gif

Use it to make chocolate truffles - just roll into 1" balls, then roll in a coating such as cocoa, coconut, nuts, etc........this is what they are made of!

I read that if you put it in the fridge and let it chill, that you can whip it up and make a filling out of it.

You can also let cupcakes set up and then use the ganache and make pretty stripes and swirls on it, or even long criss-crosses. I saw one like that yesterday at our patisserie and I thought, wow, should have done that. Looks more gourmet.

If you are a scratch baker, throw it in your next choc cake mixture then bake. It's heavenly
