How many batches do you have to make to cover and decorate a 8 inch cake.

I haven't covered an entire cake with it, only made decorations. I would assume from the batches I've made though that you would need 2.

2 batches should do it, HOWEVER, that depends on the height of the layers and what kind of border you will be using. Also the type decorations you are using.

I'm trying to compare the amount of one batch ofChocolate Clay to the Amount One batch of MMF makes. I make MMF all the time but the chocolate clay seems that is would taste awsome compared to the MMF. My customer like MMF but some of my high end clients have started to request them covered in chocolate.
