Anyone Used Wilton's Icing Whitener?

I just got a truck load of Wilton stuff from Hobby Lobby 1/2 off and in my collection of goodies I picked up a bottle of Wilton's White Icing. I guess it's suppose to whiten/lighten frosting (ie if you use butter/marg. to make BC frosting).
Anyone use this before?? Does it leave any taste?
Thanks!
I use it all the time to get that true white icing.... I have never noticed a taste....nor has anyone else complained... ![]()
I use it for all my wedding cakes when the bride wants white icing. I refuse to use all shortening icing b/c it's just nasty, but I don't care for the off white color of BC icing on a wedding cake. Wilton's white coloring is awesome! I've never noticed any weird taste, and it doesn't change the consistency of my icing. I had a bride recently that wanted white royal icing decorations on white BC base icing. I used Wilton's white coloring in my BC, and it was just as white as the royal icing! IMO, it's definitely a good buy. ![]()
