I'm think I'd like to start branching off to wedding cakes. Where do I start? From what I understand there is so much involve:

- consultation
- sampling
- pricing
- flavours
- contracts

etc.

If anyone could shed some light on this it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

I would tell you to start searching the forums on this site to get your info. There are so many post about contracts, legalities, etc. Then see what works best for you when practicing. We tried the dowels for support and HATE it! We got plastic pillars that you cna cut to the correct height and they fit right into the bottom of the cake plates. Now we LOVE them! Practice practice practice. We must have made 8 cakes and drove them around - we wanted no suprises when we did our first wedding!

Good luck! icon_smile.gif
