Does anyone have a really good doctored butter cake recipe? My normal recipe is the Yellow/sour cream cake by the cake mix doctor. My family loves it but my uncle has request a butter cake. I normally add a stick of butter to this recipe and use DH butter golden. Would adding a little butter favoring intense the butter flavor in the cake? Thanks

There is a Cake Mix Doctor butter cake recipe. Do you have the book?

Yes, I have the book but I was looking for more of an intense butter flavor because my uncle whom I'm making the cake for has tasted all of my cakes and he said I love your vanilla cakes but could you make me a butter cake. I assume he wants more of a butter flavor.

I use a golden butter recipe with butter and I add butter extract, instant vanilla pudding, and sour cream. It always comes out delicious.

I just made a butter cake this past weekend and it was soooo good.
I used DH golden butter(called for butter). I added to it just a bit of wiltons butter flavoring and a heaping TBLS of sour cream and what I did that helped add butter flavor was I used this recipe

but I replaced the almond extract w/ the wilton butter
