I started on my website today. Boy they are not easy when you are computer illiterate. Can you take a look at what I have done so far and give me some input? For being computer illeterate you did a great job. I would get the contact page done asap though. Obviously you want people to be able to contact you. Just a idea to think about as well, people do not like to scroll down on the home page. Keep your first page as simple as possible and keep pictures in the gallery or have them scroll across the page. I have sat and listed to some friends that deign websites. It looks good though. I will be up your way this summer.
Momof4luvscakes, I think your website is very impressive. You start taking about the passion you had for making cakes and what it has become. Great job with your design. lOVE YOUR INTRUDUCTIONS. Maybe you should have a index where your pricess can go so when people are asking. Your are on your way. It is alot of work I am actually trying to get mines started as well. Good Luck
so far so good... I like it.. I would in the beginning part slow my scrolling words down a bit, they fly by so slower readers. I like the overall concept though and will bookmark as well to keep up with it... you did great, keep going!
Your website looks great! I've been working on mine all weekend and it doesn't look nearly that nice.
I think you are doing a great job!! Thank goodness my hubby is a computer geek as I would have no idea where to start!!

Thanks for the input! I am going to work hard on it tomorrow if the 1 year old will let me. I will see if it will let me slow down the flash screen. I will at least try to get the contact page up soon.

Hyper Street. It is online. I am not even finished with it yet, and today I got a wedding consult for Saturday, and 2 orders!! 
Not bad for only being published for 2 days.
One was from internet search, the other 2 were from people I don't know but my website was forwarded to them by someone I knew.
