I have a request for cupcakes for a 6-year old's birthday. The party theme is Mad Scientist. This one really has me stumped. CAN SOMEONE HELP?

ooohhh... that counld be fun!

How about something with gummy worms or green bubbling goo? Maybe a cupcake that "oozes" goo when you bite into it?

A lot of people do mad scientist stuff and add test tubes with bits of dry ice and a little water. Makes an eerie presentation.

My daughter did a cell cake for her science class edible project. You could do smaller versions of something like that too. Nothing else comes to mind for me....

I don't know if this is too late, but my kids were into that Dr. Dreadful Lab and everything is either bubbly, or bugs. The creepier and crawlier the better. In a mad scientist lab you would find spiders, webs, monsters, and bubbling brew!

I agree with the bugs and the goo. You could use piping gel colored green for the goo.
