I have seen a lot of cakes on different sites and they seem to be making tulips. Does anyone know what tip to use and how to make them. I can do pretty much all the common flowers, but I don't know how to make the tulip. I would like to practice them tonight, while I watch the Astros(hopefully win tonight).

GO ASTROS!!!!!!!!

icon_smile.gif you can use those plastic eggs, the one you use during Easter , where you put candy in them ...

They are made the same as the class 3 wilton Lily only using a wider tip because a tulip only has about 5-6 petals. You cover the lily nail with foil and rub a tiny bit of shortening on the foil so the flowers will release once they dry.

icon_smile.gif Thanks Nitu... if you want a much bigger Tulips, you can use inflated balloons (very small ones), but this way only melted Chocolate or Candy Melts will work,
