How do you stick fondant pieces to each other. I tried adding water to fondant but I would like something a little easier. The fondant and the water don't mix well or I'm doing something wrong. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks, Pat

Water is all you need, I wonder why you need something simpler than that I brush my cakes with vodka and the start attaching, even easier

Water usually works fine but if you would like to try something else try piping gel.

I use the fondant/water glue mix

You just take a about a 1/2" ball of fondant and about 1/2 tsp of water and mush it all up together with the end of a teaspoon or little fork...mush, mush..till it looks like pablum..too dry..add a little more water...it is a fabulous glue

I have heard others rave about meringue powder glue..I suspect that is made from a little meringue powder and a few drops of water...

I just reread your post...are you making models or trying to stick fondant accents on a cake? It might make a difference....we could help better if you let us know...
