Just finished one of the cakes for tomorrow and have half of the 100 miniature tarts done. Need to get going and finish up.

Lemon with lemon Bavarian cream, IMBC, the other is chocolate fudge cake with Strawberry buttercream filling, iced in Sarah Bernhardt chocolate glaze, the berries are dipped in the glaze as well. Could I convince you that they are low fat, low cal? I didn't think so. ![]()
Your cakes are beautiful. I hope one day that I could make chocolate dipped strawberries as beautiful as yours.
Thank you. Give them a try, they are so fast and easy. They are especially good dipped in the glaze instead of plain chocolate. The glaze sets up softer.
They sound sooo divinely delicious!!
They look gorgeous!! Your iris and tulips are a work of art! ![]()
I'm going to try that glaze!
I can't believe you still have to do 50 more tarts
What type are they?
I was going to say now you can put your feet up but I guess not quite yet....hang in there!!
wow..those tarts sound delish...
If I didn't live so far away, I'd come right over and help you finish ![]()
I have a really good sweet pasty dough that is very like shortbread..my mother used to make coconut/lemon tarts..so yummy but I never make them because my life is a diet.. ![]()

Great cakes Shirley! They look so elegant and delicious! Can we see a pic of the tarts too - they sound divine?!
Thank you. Yes, here are the tarts too. They will go in paper Valentine cups before I leave for the event. They look a little silly on a Christmas plate but didn't want to put them on the Valentines plate till I get there.
White chocolate mousse with a strawberry slice and mocha mousse with a whole raspberry. The inside of the tart shells are brushed with Sarah Bernhardt chocolate glaze as well.
