Your cakes are beautiful. I hope one day that I could make chocolate dipped strawberries as beautiful as yours.

Lemon with lemon Bavarian cream, IMBC, the other is chocolate fudge cake with Strawberry buttercream filling, iced in Sarah Bernhardt chocolate glaze, the berries are dipped in the glaze as well. Could I convince you that they are low fat, low cal? I didn't think so. icon_rolleyes.gif

Thank you. Give them a try, they are so fast and easy. They are especially good dipped in the glaze instead of plain chocolate. The glaze sets up softer.

I'm going to try that glaze!

I can't believe you still have to do 50 more tarts icon_eek.gif What type are they?

I was going to say now you can put your feet up but I guess not quite yet....hang in there!!

Thanks ladies. Yes Jane, still more tarts to make. They are miniature hearts with a sweet pastry dough, filled with white chocolate mousse and a strawberry heart slice on half and the other half are mocha mousse with a raspberry half on top.

Thank you. Yes, here are the tarts too. They will go in paper Valentine cups before I leave for the event. They look a little silly on a Christmas plate but didn't want to put them on the Valentines plate till I get there.
White chocolate mousse with a strawberry slice and mocha mousse with a whole raspberry. The inside of the tart shells are brushed with Sarah Bernhardt chocolate glaze as well.

It's tempting not to sample while making them too. I made 100 of these and the sad thing is I know they will disappear within 10 minutes when the guests arrive.
