I am going to try and make cinderella's glass slipper out of either fondant or gumpaste, my question is what can I use to make it look glass???

what about "painting" iover the fondant with clear piping gel? I made some magnifying glass cookies for a little boys' spy party and put some in the center of the cookie to look like glass. It wasn't fabulous, but it gave that effect...
