Does any one have any suggestions as to where I can find fake grass? I need it for my cake board decoration. I want to set my football cake on it. I searched wal-mart, target and home depot (HD doesn't sell small portions) Please help...

How about just piping on a bunch of grass--you could do buttercream or royal icing.

I did it in buttercream with a small star tip pulled straight up and then made a powdered sugar "yardline". The grass is on a 9x13 brownie.

I saw some at Michael's when I was in the other day...the grass was a bit long but I thought it would be very cool to display a cake on it!! (but I would use the cake board and then set that in the grass)

You could also make grass on your cake board with the grass tip...it looks very good and is easy to do.

I bought a plastic grass door mat with a rubberized backing at K-Mart, just cut it to the size I needed. I think it was about $10.00 on sale.

How about adding green food coloring to coconut and using that as grass?
