Does anyone know how to make striped cakes with white chocolate? I'm including a link to a company that makes them and I can't figure out how they do it. I'm assuming they use modeling chocolate, but how do they make the stripes so exact? http://www.cakework.com/spotlight.html. I really want to make one for my fathers birthday tomorrow, but don't even know how to attempt to do it! Thank you - Tracie

They're probably making their own chocolate transfers. There have been some great threads with all sorts of advice on that topic, so I'd start my search there.

I have been to figure that out for months now. I was told that they make roll of each of the different colors and then use a rolling pin over them to get to stay together and then apply to the cake. I did get some striped transfer sheets from Beryl's. I have yet to use them. In looking at them though I should have gotten a larger size. I would like to know how they get the gold on the edge of the chocolate ribbon. Next month I am taking a class with Bronwen Weber and I am going to ask about this.
