That is WAAAY too much cake. They would have to have a lot of people at that wedding to have a cake that large. If not they are going to be eating cake for days.

I know that China and Taiwan have a tradition of using a dummy cake with one wedge of real cake (for the bride and groom to serve each other) inserted for the ceremonial photo. The guests are then served from sheet cakes hidden in the kitchen. I'm guessing that the cake in the photo is in keeping with that tradition.
