It's 10:30 am and I've been on CC for about 4 hours now....HELP ME!! I've got a cake waiting to be baked but I can't leave the computer. I've been reading about how extrememly hard it is to start a home base business and I'm making myself depressed... 
Any of you who are out there and are in the same boat, if you could maybe lie to me and tell me that everything will be ok and I'll get my license one day, that would be fantastic! LOL
Well, gotta go and make this super bowl cake...sigh
Everything will be okay and we'll BOTH get our licenses on day and we'll make beautiful cakes.

Are you going to make a football cake? If so did you get the pan in Clarksville, my wife and I may come that way tonight to goout and eat. I sure would love to have one of those cake pans. Were not that far away from yall just on the other side of Hoptown

Well, my idea so far is a sheet cake with Colts and Bears goal line on either side, grass in the middle and the logo in the very center...not really sure if you can picture it, but it looks good in my head 
I'll let ya know how it turns out.
I thought about a "football" cake, but I just dont feel like going out and buying one. Plus I went to Hobby Lobby the other day and I dont think they had any. Not sure. I hope you find one Jason L.
I went through the depression too. I can get a home baking license, but my dog and 2 cats can't be in the food prep area, and we have an open floor plan at our house. So that's not going to work. And I'm not going to make them outside pets. They're too spoiled! So I'm looking into renting a kitchen at a licensed business or rent space. hang in there. Good luck with the superbowl cake. I had a design similar to yours in mind. Now I think I'll do cupcakes and/or cut out cookies with logos. with a black circle and line through the colts logo, as I am a bears fan.

Hey Soccermom17...we're almost birthday buddies. I have the same problem with the animal issue too. I have 2 dogs and a 7 month old. I'd love to be able to rent a kitchen but it would be hard with a baby. Oh well, one day it'll happen.
