I've covered my cake with icing, but it's horrible. I guess I was in such a hurry that I didn't notice how bad the icing looked. Actually, it didn't look that bad in the bowl, but on the cake looks bad. Anyway, what can I do now. I would like to make a new batch of icing and try to cover the old one, but will that work. The icing is not smooth - I'm assuming I didn't mix it enough - duh - because I was trying to do a million other things along with that. Anyway, any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Can you scrape it off? The pop it into the freezer for a few minute to harden up whats left so it won't mix in. The coat with the new batch of icing. Use the first one like a "crumb" coat of sorts.

Good Luck! icon_smile.gif
