Yep, we've had some snow, but all it is doing is messing up traffic.

Wish you could see the highways they are showing on TV, mile after mile of bumper to bumper traffic, and people sliding into other cars, walls, posts, you name it, they are hitting it!

Some fun! And not even enough snow to make a snowball. Janice

yeah we get the dallas stations here in east texas and wow thats crazy traffic. one thing about snow here in the south nobody knows how to drive in it. my aunt lives in PA and they get 3 to 4 feet of snow and still go to school. lol we get less than 1/2 an inch and everything stops here.

icon_lol.gif That IS funny! Here in Minnesota, snow doesn't stop anything!!! icon_lol.gif
If we got a couple of feet of snow, they'd probably tell us to send our kids to school on snowmobiles!!! icon_lol.gificon_lol.gificon_lol.gif

Very true, when I was 12 my parents moved us to Minnesota from Kentucky and I couldn't believe what kind of roads the buses would drive on. icon_eek.gif
I live in North Dakota now and today there's a little snow and it's really cold, they just tell us to dress our children warmly.

I used to live in MN too! I first lived in Lakeville, and then my parents moved to Red Wing.
My dad lived there about 9-10 years ago before moving to North Carolina. He doesn't mind the snow when it comes by him, he just can't stand the drivers. The whole city shuts down is says for 1-2 inches of snow because they don't have the equipment to deal with the snow. icon_rolleyes.gif
Me, I just keep on driving through it, albeit a bit more slower sometimes than others.
WI had that really bad snowstorm in December (the news was calling it a blizzard) I drove to work in it, it was most interesting driving in the snow and in the dark. icon_eek.gif Hubby called me on his way in and told me to stay home if I wanted to...told him no way I'm going to work, corporate office didn't call to say they were closed so I'm going in.
