I made the clown cake for a friend's birthday...it was so good...one of my better ones. I never got a chance to get a picture of it.
I rushed home from work so I made sure I got to the restaurant before my friend. The cake was a surprise. They put it in the fridge for me. When it came time for the cake, I asked them to bring it out. It was taking a while, and the one waitress comes out and says they accidently dropped it on the floor. I worked hours on the cake to make it perfect for my friend! Late nights and early mornings. They were very apologetic, and rushed out and bought a new cake, but it still wasn't the same ![]()

We will still continue to go to the restaurant though...they have the best chinese food in town lol!
Nooooooooooo!
Thats terrible!!! Sorry you had to go through that! And no photo to boot!
He heart dropped just reading that, I can imagine how I'd feel. Completely devastated and so upset. That's why I'm so nervous about others handling my cakes, they just won't take the same care as you would.
I'm sorry that happened. They definitely should've at least taken care of your dinner or something.
I don't think they owed you a whole dinner. Accidents do happen. They did get another cake for you and gave you the bananas.
Many many restaurants won't let you bring in desserts (which I understand), and some that do charge for for bringing something in because they 1) aren't able to then sell their own dessert and 2) have to provide plates and utensils for it.
they didnt' drop it..they saw how cute it was and they kept it..and gave you a store cake instead...
Yeah...that's it...lol
(sorry about your cake!! I would've pitched a cow, I'm so immature about those things..! lol)
I'd be so pissed!! I'm too controlling to let anyone else handle my cakes, though once it's out of your doors, there's not much you can do! I'm sorry that happened!
