I just wanted to say that since I've joined CC I have to pry myself from the computer to actually do any work! Everyone is so informative and helpful, it just motivates me more and more everyday to continue my career in cake decorating.

You are definatley not alone I am the same way! I love to look on here for new ideas and new creations to make! This is an awesome site and well worth the many, many hours I spend on here

I can't even sleep because of it!! The first thing I do in the morning is turn on the computer, then go make coffee!! I'm not normally like this at all but I really can't get enough cakes, cake talk, cake stuff, whatever might possibly have to do with cakes!!!! I feel like my eyes will pop out and I just think, ok, just 5 more minutes!! I keep thinking that the more classes I go to that some of the excitement or obsessiveness, whichever , will wear off but it just keeps growing!!! Bigger and bigger and bigger!!! I'm right there with ya girls!!!

I've really enjoyed this site too. The shared knowledge is incredible. I made a cake for a baby shower tonight and everyone was impressed. I told my friends about this site and they were all amazed that something like this exists. I had some questions about how to store my cake so I posted a question yesterday and within 20 minutes, all my questions were answered. Thanks everyone for all the great tips! This site is pure gold!

My husband keeps saying I'm neglecting him

You know the worst part about being addicted to this site is I can't get off of the computer to go try the new things I've learned here. I've been meaning to work on a FBCT and a choc. transfer for my DD's upcoming birthday, but instead I'm here. I can actually say that got my dishes done tonight. I usually push those off until really late, but I got them done early. So now I can stay on here longer instead of getting off to go clean my kitchen. Woohooo!!

I am very new into cakes and I do it part time, but with all the wealth of information and ideas I just feel like quiting my day job and do cakes full time!!!! Wouldn't it be fun if there was a CC convention? And everyone had to wear nametags with thier username on them so we would know who each other was????!!!!!

Ha Ha! That would be fun! But also very expensive... I enjoy this site so much... and I must agree with all of you... I am often on it when I should be doing something else... like right now when I should be working on my radio show... Too much fun!

Last year my addiction was knitting and my DH kept saying knitting was my BF!! Ha ha ha but for some reason, since I took an interest in cake decorating and taking classes he says, "I'm proud that you're taking classes and pursuing what you're interested in". Of course, what he doesn't know and can't complain about is that I'm on CC during my work hours peeking in to see if there are any new tips or techniques to learn about. I'm sure one day he will complain when my kitchen is full of cake stuff just like my closets are full of yarn LOL

i too am a cc addict. My husband is so sick of hearing about cakes!! I'm a stay at home mom and spend every moment i can glued to the computer......good thing my son is 2 and takes a long nap of course, i don't know what i'd do without all of you. all the advice, receipes and help i've received has been amazing! Going to this site every day makes me super excited about doing more cakes. Thanks!

My dh has come to terms with my addiction. He calls it my "cake porn".

Wow I just noticed I'm a junior member and not a newbie no more. Yipee!!! Does this mean I'm getting hooked? Uh-oh!!

I too am addicted. Last year, I decided that I was going to make and sell hair bows and now this year its cakes. My husband thinks I am going crazy, but I enjoy the cakes WAY more then making bows.... I too can't sleep at night, I dream of cakes. I find myself looking for people whose birthdays are coming up so that I can make them a cake.....

I think my one year old thinks that I have relpaced her with the computer. Every morning while she watches her little cartoons I get on here and she always turns to look at me when she hears the click sound that my laptop makes when I open it. I know she's thinking "Again....I see."

I have learn so much from here, more than the three courses I got from Wilton! thanks to everyone who has posted recipes, how to's? and a lot of pic's that inspire,
