What exactly is cream bouquet? What is it used for/in? I've seen it in a supply store for the first time this week.

Creme Bouquet is a flavoring. It has a lemon/citrus flavor. Very nice flavor in my opinion. I've used it instead of vanilla in my buttercream icing. Hope that is helpful.

Yes, I like it in my buttercream as well. It goes nicley with any fruit filled cakes.

I use it along with vanilla in some recipes it has a mild citrus flavor. If the customer wants lemon or orange frosting or filling I use cream bouquet. It also tastes great in cookies too.

I use creme bouquet in addition to my vanilla in recipes, i.e. if recipe calls for 2 tsp vanilla, I use 1 tsp vanilla, 1 tsp creme bouquet.

I haver found that the creme royale actually tastes better than the creme bouquet. If you like the creme bouquet, you'll love the creme royale.

thank you for this thread! I bought some a few months ago and couldn't remember why. I've had it sitting here by the computer as a reminder to search the forums to find out what to use it in. I have now written it on a post it and put it on the bottle. icon_lol.gif
Its smells so good! I'll have to get some creme royale next.

I just tried creme bouquet for the first time last night and I totally LOVE it! It really makes the BC taste great.

Now, I'll have to try some creme royale too...
