I've read about sugaring grapes....and I was wondering can you do the same to strawberries-sliced or whole?

Thanks!

whole fruit....cut fruit sometime will dissolve the sugar.

Enjoy the technique!

if you need to used sliced, it's best to warm up some apricot jam, strain it if it has chuncks and brush over the cut fruit.

Make some glaceed fruit. Make a small batch of boiled sugar. Take your strawberries, grapes or whatever you have and dip them in the sugar. Makes them look like they are encased in glass. I would wait until the last minute to do this though as the sugar will melt off rather quickly. Just a suggestion. Oops one more thing, use a skewer to dip your fruit in the sugar. Don't want anyone getting burned severely.
