Road with construction equipment?

It's my son's second birthday party on Sat and I'm trying to decide what to do for the cake. We are having a construction party.

The road will be much more time consuming and the cone more simple (but huge, it has to serve 50!)

What do you guys think? I can't decide!

Any other suggestions?

I like the idea of the orange cones - what about two of them each with a candle. That should feed 50 people.

Take a look at my photos I did a bob the builder for my son's 2 yr party. I bought toy figures and stuck them on the cake. Good Luck

OOH I like the idea of the 2 cones with candles!

Silvercat- I love your bob cake! That's kind of what I was thinking I might do if I did stuff on top (Only make the trucks out of gum paste...I have issues I know icon_smile.gif I'm obsessed with trying to duplicate stuff right now for some reason!)
