I was just practicing with fondant, and got some ideas off here with the human figures. So, I tried my hand at a Fondant Boy, first time (pictured below) but while i was working with him, his head got a little flat in the back
Any one have any tips for me??? Any help would be appreciated, thanks so much!!!! ![]()
My tip is to put his head on a toothpick or skewer once you get the shape you want. Just handle it then by the toothpick/skewer and you'll have no misshapen heads!
It's also a great tip for drying b/c then you can just stick the toothpick in styrofoam or the like!
The styrofoam flower formers work great too! http://www.countrykitchensa.com/catalog/product.aspx?T=1&productId=2264
don't be so hard on your self i think his face is cute. the first time is always the hardest.
