I'm making the birthday boy a Bob the Builder cake (using bc transfer of Bob) but it's a 1st birthday so wanted to make a very small round (4") personal smash cake.

How can I decorate such a small cake to match the B the B theme?

Do I write his name on the little cake? Need ideas for something quick, easy and cute.

Thanks.

Take a look at my photos! I did a construction hat for my son's 2 yr party! I used the second smallest pyrex bowl and than used a cupcake for the brim of the hat. You could do a small pyrex bowl and have a smash cake in the shape of a hat for him and than write his name on the front! HTH

Even a FBCT of Bob's face with Happy Birthday Name on the cake would be cute - but I do love the hard hat idea!

My first instinct was to do the construction hat like Bob wears. You could write his name across the back of the hat like they do on some of the big job sites. HTH
