Okay, guys, I'm using a soft frosting that does not crust on a 2-tiered cake. I plan to use fondant bumble-bees and other fondant accents on the sides of the cake. Will the fondant bees and accents be too heavy for this frosting? Any suggestions? Should I do chocolate transfers instead? Please help with ANY suggestions you might have!!!

Thanks!
Julie

maybe you could "glue" the fondant on with a stiffer frosting

Don't know if it would work or not. worth a try

You're probably going to have to attach the fondant figures with toothpicks.

Maybe you could use some tooth picks, stick the bees in the side or the bum or however you plan on positioning them, then stick them into the cake itself. That way the cake supports their weight and not the icing icon_smile.gif
