I am atempting to do some fondant figures and I was wondering how I can achieve a nice skin tone color? I do not have a flesh color food color (or if they even make that) but maybe I could mix a couple colors to get that? Also when I am doing my figures what kinds of "edible glue" can I use to stick the pieces together? Thanks for your help!

Adding ivory and/or brown got me a good flesh color. As for glue...clear vanilla, or a high proof clear liquor works great, too. (Everclear, vodka)

Good luck!!

I've used the Wilton's copper color for flesh tone....just a bit though.

What color flesh are you trying to achieve? Copper works well for caucasian. For other ethnic groups you should try varying intensities of ivory and brown.

I use just a little bit of Wilton's copper, or you can use very small amounts of pink and yellow mixed into white fondant for caucasian figures. Fondant "glues" well just by using a little water on a paintbrush to dampen the areas you want to stick together.
