Welcome duckduck! I am new too so don't have too much info to give but will be happy to pass along my two cents.
First I took all three of the Wilton courses offered at my local Michaels.
Cake Central is the best place to look for and get information. I have ordered but have not yet received the American Cake Decorating magazine along with Mailbox News. I have seen copies of ACD and it seems to be a very nice magazine.
Maybe this will bump up your request and you will get more info than I can offer.
PS Don't forget to just do searches on the internet, it is amazing what you can find.
You'll learn more from Cake Central than you ever did from Wilton! Welcome!
To be honest I have bought a few books from Wilton. LOL never even attempted anything from those books until this year. I have like 4 issues. I have self taught myself and have learned ALOT from CC.
WELCOME TO OUR ADDICTION!
Everyone here are amazing. The articles and galleries well need I say more! ![]()
Searching the internet is the best. The pictures out there are awesome. This site has great instructional pix also.
Here are the websites for 2 periodical decorating magazines, American Cake Decorating & Mailbox News. Both sell for around $10 I think, so I've never bought one, but I usually flip through them when I'm at the cake store.

I mostly get my ideas off the internet too.
I use the wilton books.... for ideas and whenever I find a cake book I pick it up... havent gotten to subscribe to ACD yet...but that is on my to do list.
I used to use the wilton yearbooks now i google and find a jumping off.......but 99% of my inspiration and info comes from here!!!
