How would you decline a cake and sweets out of your niche? I know for fact I know that I want to make the luxury style cakes and sweet, If you look it up, you will see what I mean. I don't want to do any  type of character or brand cakes or sweets. Call me crazy but I really don't care. I'm not a fan of them. I wouldn't buy them personally so I know for a fact that I wouldn't even think about making them. How do you decline an order like that? What would you say to be polite about it?

idk but doing character cakes is usually a copyright infringement so there’s that — and it is a very serious potential problem — disney literally has a page on their website where you can snitch — they’re calling it piracy —

some people do cakes for income — some do it for artistic expression — if someone is an excellent decorator and do high end cakes they can build a following but it’s not necessarily going to pay the mortgage — know what I mean?
