I've recently gotten back into making homemade chocolate truffles using the polycarbonate molds, and that includes the colored cocoa butter for making them look fancy. I bought my own cocoa butter and food coloring powder so I could make my own (it seemed cheaper than buying premade). Only problem is I don't have anything to store it in, so it's just sitting in a little glass prep bowl.
Any recommendations for small containers I could buy that are microwave-safe? It would need to be small, could hold at least 120 grams. If the lid/opening is wide enough to dip a small brush in that would be perfect so I don't have to pour it into a bowl and waste cocoa butter.
I was debating trying to use washed old vanilla extract jars but I'm not sure if the glass container is safe to microwave. Or even old spice jars from the grocery store, if I could get the smell out of them 100%.
ball and kerr canning jars come in 4 ounce size and have a nice open mouth

and glass containers are the best for melting and holding choco —
best to you
