Hello,  I am looking to get white cake recipe or sponge white cake recipe so I can add rainbow colors.  that can fit to 7" pan. I only three pans ass 7" , 8 an 9".  I rather use 7" pan as probably cake will be little high due to six colors.

 I saw the recipe of whisk kids blog for rainbow that called six 9" inches pan.  How I would use that recipe use 7" pan, any hint or suggestion will be appreciated.  I was thinking to half that recipe but how I will do where recipe is calling 5 egss white.. Any idea?

just put less batter in each pan -- make cupcakes with the remainder -- for best results you need to bake each color separate

Exactly what -K8memphis said.  If you cut the recipe in half, you will not have enough for six 7" pans.
